Fill forms and sign by hand
Press S (or 4) for Fill & Sign. Real form fields fill in place, with a count of fields filled and Next field; on a flat or scanned form, Text field places text anywhere. For a visual signature, drag a rectangle where it goes and type, draw or choose an image. It is free.

Fill a form
Press S (or 4) for Fill & Sign.
- Forms with fields: click a field and type. The bar shows how many fields are filled, and Next field jumps to the next empty one. Fields marked required block signing until they are filled.
- Flat or scanned forms: choose Text field in the palette and click where the text goes. Drag to move it, or drag an edge to resize it.
To make the answers part of the page, choose File › Flatten Form Fields….
Sign by hand
Choose Signature, then drag a rectangle on the page where the signature goes. The signature sheet has Type (type your name), Draw and Image (Choose Image…). Press Place & Save.
A drawn signature is a picture on the page, not a cryptographic signature. For one that others can verify, see Sign with a certificate or USB token.
